Driving a more responsible future

At Raceworld Indoor Karting, we are committed to operating in a responsible, sustainable and community-focused way. We continue to invest in our venue, our people and our local partnerships to reduce our environmental impact and create a positive contribution to Devon.

Our sustainability commitment

Sustainability is an ongoing journey for Raceworld. As an indoor leisure and business events venue, we recognise the importance of reducing waste, improving energy efficiency, supporting local suppliers and creating a safe, inclusive and positive workplace.

Our approach is practical and honest: we focus on improvements that make a real difference to our venue, our customers, our employees and our local community.

Responsible maintenance waste Waste generated through kart maintenance is handled responsibly, with hazardous materials disposed of through appropriate licensed providers.
Ongoing review We continue to review our internal processes to identify further opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency.

Supporting local suppliers and Devon businesses

We believe sustainability is not only environmental. It is also about supporting the local economy and building strong, responsible partnerships.

Local contractors Wherever possible, we work with local contractors and specialist companies to support Devon businesses and reduce unnecessary travel.
Azro partnership Exeter-based Azro recently modernised our briefing and conference facilities with smart automation technology, improving the experience for both corporate and leisure guests.
Food and drink suppliers We aim to use local suppliers wherever practical, particularly for food, drink and service requirements.
Regional economy By attracting visitors, business events and corporate clients, Raceworld helps support wider local spending across the Exeter and East Devon area.

Community and social responsibility

Hospiscare fundraising Our Raceworld & Hospiscare Devon Business League and Construction Cup, sponsored by Recruit Easy, has helped raise more than £282,000 for Hospiscare over the past two years.

Future improvements

We know there is always more to do. Over the coming year, we will continue reviewing opportunities to reduce energy consumption, improve waste management, support local suppliers and strengthen our positive contribution to the Devon visitor economy.

We are also exploring further digital improvements, including future booking system development, to improve customer service and reduce manual administration.

Our ongoing commitment

Raceworld remains committed to making practical, measurable improvements that benefit our customers, employees, local community and environment.
